Help little Nick stand up to cancer!

Hello everyone, most of you all probably know me, and if you don’t- my name is Britney. If you know me, you also know that I don’t usually share personal information or ask for anything but I feel that this is a very different occasion and is very much needed and my heart brings me here. My little cousin, Nick Buckner (11 years old), son of Todd and Lisa Buckner, is the SWEETEST little guy I know, and unfortunately they are going through a rough spot right now. Nick had been suffering from headaches and some nausea. On February 23rd, 2022, they took him to the emergency room. They conducted a CT scan which showed that Nick had a brain tumor. He was sent to Roanoke hospital in order to undergo surgery to remove the tumor. On the morning of Feb. 24th, they went in and removed the tumor and stated that it was the size of a baseball in between his frontal and rear lobe, and it did show some abnormal cells. Nick did well with the surgery and is now in recovery. The biopsy results came in today and they met with the doctors. The tumor was malignant (cancerous). They are going to run a few more tests before determining the next steps, which *MAY* lead to them traveling to Washington DC for radiation treatments and/or chemo if necessary, depending on the outcome. Nicks mom, Lisa, is a stay at home mom and Todd is having a hard time being able to work daily with this going on and having to travel long distance to and from appointments. I am just asking for any help you all may be able to give, to help them with all of the expenses needing during this difficult time. If you can’t afford to donate, we completely understand, we are asking for prayers first above all.
