Little Miracle is an 11-week-old Golden Retriever puppy, and she’s already shown more courage than I could have imagined. She’s only a third the size of her siblings and has faced serious health challenges since birth. Recently, she became very sick with low blood sugar and started having seizures. After rushing her to the emergency vet, we learned she likely has a liver shunt and will need surgery to survive. The cost of surgery and work up is significant, and we’re hoping to raise enough to cover her medical needs.
After her emergency visit, Little Miracle couldn’t eat for three days. I spent hours feeding her formula through a syringe, celebrating every tiny bit of progress. When she finally started eating wet puppy food, it felt like a miracle. She now eats small meals every two hours and receives dextrose fluids to keep her stable. The vet called her a miracle to be alive, and that’s how she got her name. Tomorrow, we’re heading to VRC Malvern Emergency Hospital for more care.
Donations will help cover Little Miracle’s surgery, ongoing treatment, and the medical work up she needs to have the best chance at a healthy life. Any support you can give will help her get the care she needs. Thank you for helping give her a fighting chance.
