“On Saturday 7/27 We brought Madison to the ER so a doctor could look at her because her breathing was labored and she still wasn’t feeding and gaining weight like she should. They labeled her being a septic shock newborn and the room filled with doctors... little did I know, sepsis would’ve been the better option. They discovered a large mass in her left abdomen and she was admitted to the PICU. We experienced the worst 3 days as our daughter was literally fighting for her life just to stabilize enough to have a biopsy. The diagnosis quickly followed... cancer. Neuroblastoma to be specific. Madison started her first round of Chemotherapy on Wednesday and is physically doing better than last week but there are still lots of unknowns about her treatment or length of stay in the hospital. All of this and she’s only a month old...
We want to say thank you to everyone that has kept her in your thoughts and prayers, it is really appreciated- keep it coming We are so thankful for our amazing family and friends that are our support network, love you all”
What they are not saying is that both Mom and Dad and little brother Jaxon are 110% consumed with Madison in the Hospital. Neither of them can work as one of them are either with Madison in the Hospital or caring for Jaxon. They are totally devoting them selves to their kids and as such need our help to cover medical deductibles and basic living expenses. This is possibly one of the toughest situations any of us could imagine. Please empathize with their plight and give freely. This is a LONG HAUL situation and the end is not in sight. Thanks for caring.
