On the 1st of May, 2025, just shy of his 3rd birthday, sweet Jacob Felici was diagnosed with B-Cell leukemia — a word NO family should ever have to hear, especially about their joyful, energetic little boy.

Jacob is the light of his mum Brookes life. Her miracle IVF baby!! He is not only the apple of Brookes eye, but he has his Nanny and Poppy around his finger!! Jacob is full of laughter, curiosity, and a lover of Spiderman, dinosaurs, and cuddles from mum. Now, instead of preparing for day-care, gymnastics, day trips to "ALL THE ZOO’s" with mum, Jacob and his family are facing long hospital stays, intense treatments, and the emotional weight that comes with a life-changing diagnosis accompanied by chemotherapy.

His journey has only just begun, and the road ahead will be long and challenging. Between chemotherapy, remaining in Melbourne, away from home and family, ongoing frequent hospital visits, potential travel and accommodation for specialized care, not to mention, LONG TERM time off work to be with Jacob while receiving treatment in Melbourne. Although early, the financial strain is already becoming overwhelmingly worrying.

• Mortgage Repayments! Because when out, they need a roof over their head!

• Ongoing bills that still happen… utilities!

• Daily living expenses while she takes (considerable) time off work to care for him
