Help little Isabella with her big journey in life

This is the story of little Isabella, my new niece who was born on the 29/06/2024 at 33 weeks gestation from an emergency c-section after Isabellas mum (Samantha) and herself both almost lost their lives from extreme Pre-eclampsia. Isabella weighed 4.8lbs and was rushed to the NICU following her birth, she was placed on a CPAP breathing machine and a feeding tube.. After all that had already happened in Isabella’s first days on Earth she was diagnosed with a rare condition called Microphthalmia which affects 1 in 10,000 babies, and means Isabella will be permanently blind as her eyeballs didn’t fully develop properly. Isabella will start her long journey of surgery’s to take her underdeveloped eyes out to replace them with artificial eyes, and to have the bone structure around her eyes reconstructed at the little age of 4 months old in the Royal Childrens Hospital.

When Isabella comes home, life will be very full on as she has two other siblings. Isabella has a big sister Taylah at the age of 11, who will be one of her biggest supporters and her big brother Jack who is 6 and is diagnosed ADHD and level 2 autism who already has a lot of medical needs. Isabella’s Dad (Aaron) also had a big work accident driving his truck back in February and is fighting his own battles in his recovery on getting back to work, he has been our family’s backbone in supporting the whole family in this extremely emotional time.

The whole family has endured so much this year, so I would like to help them through this time and take some financial stress away. Thank you to all that are able to contribute, we notice and we appreciate it so very much.
