Hi my name is Jonathan and I'm hoping to raise some much needed funds for my daughter and her family.

Just shy of his second birthday, my beautiful grandson Ezra has been diagnosed with leukaemia. In that moment, everything has changed.

Instead of planning birthday candles and cake, Mum and Dad are now learning medical terms, sitting beside hospital beds, and holding Ezra through treatments no toddler should ever have to face. It’s a reality no family is ever prepared for.

Ezra is the sweetest little soul — curious, cuddly, and full of cheeky smiles. He loves exploring the world around him and adores his big brother, 4-year-old Loki, who looks at Ezra like he’s his best friend and sidekick. The bond between these two boys is something truly special and Loki really misses him.

Now, Ezra is beginning the fight of his life, with 80% of his bone marrow being made up of cancerous cells and cells surrounding his heart and lungs.

The road ahead will be long and incredibly challenging, with hospital stays, chemotherapy, countless appointments, and ongoing care. Mum and Dad are by his side around the clock, while also doing everything they can to keep life as steady and loving as possible for Loki. Balancing hospital life with caring for a four-year-old at home is both emotionally and financially overwhelming.
