My name is Tracy Herauf, and I’m starting this fundraiser for my friend, Amanda Schneider, and her sweet daughter, Eva.

Two-year-old Eva has been bravely battling a severe and undiagnosed skin condition that is causing intense daily discomfort. Alongside the skin condition, she's been dealing with a very persistent virus, psychological and emotional trauma from her hospital visits, and a painful infection in her IV site that left her unable to walk for over a week. It's too much for a little one. Her sleep, behaviour, overall wellness and development are all being affected.

Watching them go through this has been heartbreaking, and I want to help make sure they get the care they need without added financial stress.

Amanda has been trying everything. Natural medicine. Conventional medicine. She is supporting her both internally and topically to the best of her knowledge. She has seen a number of pediatritions and nobody is confident about what is happening.

Wait lists to see a dermatologist or an allergist are long and it's not right for Eva to be having to go through this at such a vulnerable, and formative age. Amanda is determined to uncover and treat the root cause by working with a highly regarded naturopathic doctor in Saskatoon.

Right now, Eva needs 24/7 care from mom, so Amanda has been unable to work. She has been covering these unexpected expenses herself and with the help of family and friends, but as a solo parent unable to work during this time, the costs add up quickly.

She needs our support to help bridge the gap while she's away from work.
