Help Little Doggie Find a Forever Home :)

Say hello to "Little Doggie"!

- Chihuahua
- Female
- Tan & White
- Approx 3-4 yrs old

On Sept 30th, Mariel, Nolan & Finn Boy came across this little lady while on a walk. She followed us, came up to us and wanted to say hi & play. Finn Boy immediately got in protective mode, but she wasn't phased by him yapping at her, and still wanted to be friends.

We noticed she didn't have a collar, and was really skinny for a chihuahua (ribs and bones were protruding through her little body!) which lead us to believe that she had been out on her own. So we took her back to our house to keep her safe, have her beef up & get healthy so we can help get her back home....or help her find a nice, new home.

She was so scared and nervous her 1st week with us, that she refused to come inside and would hide underneath the house. She would only come out at night to eat the food we left out for her, and sleep on the bed outside. We thought she might've escaped since there were days we didn't see her! But by her 2nd week, she knew she was in a safe place and realized we were helping her, and finally decided to come inside and hang out. Now she follows us everywhere and has made herself quite cozy with all of us. She's beef'd up quite a bit and is looking and feeling super healthy now :)

Finn Boy & "Little Doggie" are buds! She's excellent at finding your lap and getting herself cozy. Nolan thinks she's a toy and wants to play with her all of the time. She's an excellent listener (better than Finn, at times) and is house-trained.

We took her to the vet to get checked out. Health-wise, she is fine and dandy! But there was no indication if "Little Doggie" had been spayed or vaccinated. Unfortunately, she was not microchipped either. We've posted her as a Found Dog on social media, Pawboost, Lostmydoggie and the local community IG...but no one has claimed her.

We've been in contact with Rescues that could potentially help re-home "Little Doggie" but in order for them to commit to rescuing & re-homing her, they would need a medical sponsorship to spay, microchip and vaccinate her before she can be put up for adoption.

That's where you come in!

Any amount you can help contribute so that "Little Doggie" can receive the care she needs to prepare her for a new home, would be a huge help! The cost for everything is approximately $500, and 100% of the donations will go to Live Love Animal Rescue to get her adoption ready!

No pressure or obligation - just wanted to share her journey with you. She's pretty awesome and we think she deserves to continue to live an awesome life. "Little Doggie" thanks you for reading! :)
