Hello friends and family! You all know me by KatieJo and if you know me you definitely know my main dog Little Brother. On Friday the 13th he was diagnosed with Cancer, on the 18th it was confirmed as a mass cell tumor and what seems as a grade 1 which means we can beat it!! He has surgery on the 20th!!

Little Brother means everything to me and I wouldn’t be starting this if this was not a time sensitive thing.

For those that don’t know, LB is a half brother to my first service dog Gator; my whole world was consumed by Gator until the day I lost him… I waited patiently for an opportunity to have just a piece of him back and when LB was born on March 11, 2018 that was my chance. I saw Little Brothers birth announcement, I picked him out at 5 days old and when mom weaned him early at 3&1/2 weeks I picked him up. He went to work with me to ensure he got his milk replacement at the appropriate times, he became my service dog and constant companion and best friend…he was and still is my baby even now at 8 years old… he has been my motivation when I was drained, my peace in the chaos, my laughter and happiness in the darkest of times. He is the reason I’m even alive, in the middle of a horribly abusive relationship it became apparent my life was on the line; I left only to save LBs because if he was safe I was also safe. He is more than a dog, he kept me safe and is forever my companion, my breath of air, my best friend and my boy. Please help me to help him. Everything is beyond appreciated.
