My family and I are almost three years into our farming journey with Little Boss Hog Farms. We started out raising pigs, which inspired our farm’s name, but soon realized that pigs alone weren’t enough to sustain us. Over time, we shifted our focus and now care for about 20 chickens and one yard pig. While we’ve learned a lot and grown as a family, we’ve reached a point where we can’t expand further without more land. Currently, we have no space for cropping, and our dream is to grow our own crops and add more animals like goats and cattle.

With your support, we hope to lease or purchase enough land for both cropping and grazing. The funds will also help us get the equipment and a truck we need to keep the farm running smoothly. This expansion would allow us to provide more locally grown and sourced goods, not just for our family, but for our entire community. We believe in the power of local agriculture and want to give back by offering fresh, sustainable products to our neighbors.
