Help Little Bean Beat Cancer!

Hello! My name is Aria (but my mom calls me Little Bean).
I’m a happy, rambunctious 7 years young kitty who loves to play fetch, laze in the sun, and play with my brother Fonzie.
I was diagnosed on April 15 with a tumour in my belly that, given my symptoms, is very likely cancerous.
I have not been able to keep food down because the tumour causes both pain and a blockage in my stomach so I have lost a lot of weight.
The vet gave my mom 2 options:
End of life care to make my next few weeks as comfortable as possible as the tumour grows and closes off my stomach.
Or, surgery to remove the mass, which the vet said with kitties as young as me, he is hopeful that I could make a full recovery.
But unfortunately, the second option comes with a heavy price. The tests so far to get my diagnosis have totalled nearly $1,000 and the surgery is estimated to be about $5,000 if all goes well.
While my mom has a pretty good job, and is aware of the commitment that is pet ownership, as well as the risks of health concerns and unexpected costs, this surgery was not in her budget. Given the two options; a painful couple of weeks with end of life care or surgery with a shot at living a long and happy life, my mom felt the choice was obvious.
If you’ve made it this far in the story, thank you for taking the time to read, Aria’s surgery is scheduled for Friday, April 19 in hopes to save her life.
After the surgery, the tumour will be tested for cancer. In the likely event it is cancer, the conversation will then be about further preventative treatments like radiation, chemotherapy, and medication, what that will cost is still unknown.
While I am in a privileged position to be able to eventually manage this cost, I figured it could never hurt to turn to friends and family who know and love Little Bean to ask for a helping hand to offset the financial impact for our family, even if it's small.
Big love, thank you,
Caitlyn & Aria
