Hi, my name is Michelle, and I’m reaching out to ask for your help.
A friend and colleague of mine recently received heartbreaking news; her beautiful little girl, Ava, has been diagnosed with cancer.
Ava is a bright, bubbly 4-year-old who loves dressing up as a princess, doing arts and crafts, and filling every room with laughter. Sadly, doctors discovered that her cancer has spread to different parts of her body. She’s been diagnosed with bilateral, metastatic Wilms tumours, a rare and aggressive form of childhood cancer.
Ava has a long road of treatment ahead; her parents and family are doing everything they can to stay strong for her. Along with the emotional toll, there are many unexpected costs that come with this kind of long-term illness, some of which are travel, time off work, and other expenses that add up quickly.
This fundraiser is to help ease that burden, so Ava’s family can focus on what truly matters: helping their little girl fight this battle.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how big or small, your support will mean the world to them. Every bit helps and will make a real difference for Ava and her family.
As her mom, Kate, says: “Ava loves dressing up as Superwoman, she is our brave little Superwoman!”
Thank you so much for your kindness, love, and support. Kate, John, Emily, Ava and baby James.
