Help Little Aaden to Beat Brain Cancer!

My name is Anna, and I am a  mother to three precious little boys—Mason, Aaden, and Myles.

This past year has been the most difficult time of my life. My youngest, now 18 months old, was born with biliary atresia and will eventually need a liver transplant, along with frequent hospitalizations as he grows. As if one sick child wasn’t hard enough, my second son, Aaden, who is only 5 years old, has just been diagnosed with brain cancer. DIPG—Diffuse Midline Glioma, H3 K27M-Mutant—is a very aggressive, fast-growing tumor. The doctors have given Aaden two years to live, and my heart is broken as I hope and pray for a miracle.

Sixteen years ago, I emigrated from the Philippines to the United States, hoping to start a new life. Alone, with no family in the States, I worked tirelessly to build a life here. Life as a mother of three is challenging, and I work hard every day to make sure my kids have everything they need and more. Those who know me would tell you that I always go above and beyond to help anyone in need. Since leaving the Philippines, I haven’t been able to visit my family back home, as I’ve struggled financially to make ends meet here.

Now, with two sick children and no family nearby to support me, I face an uncertain future. I’ll need to take time off work to care for my boys, which means no income to cover our daily needs. Any help, big or small, that could go toward medical and daily expenses would be a blessing, allowing me to focus on my children during this critical time. My wish is to spend as much time as possible with my boys, to see Aaden’s wishes come true, and to hope for a path to healing for him.
