Help Lisi Live a Life without Pain

Lisi, our brave cat, came to us from an international animal rescue in April 2020. At that time, she was severely traumatized, abused, and marked by extreme fear. We took her in with an injured eye and great pain, and since then, we have been fighting together for a better life for her.

In the summer of 2020, Lisi’s injured eye was operated on, but it took two more procedures before the wound finally healed. Lisi has gone through so much in her short life, but she never gave up – and neither did we.

Recently, during a routine veterinary check-up, stomatitis was diagnosed. Initially, four teeth had to be removed. But instead of improvement, the dental surgery brought more bad news: Lisi is still suffering from severe pain, and due to her dental issues, she is now developing kidney insufficiency.

A specialist in veterinary dentistry gave us the bitter truth: All of Lisi's teeth need to be extracted to end her suffering and stabilize her health. However, the cost of this urgently needed surgery amounts to approximately €4000. This is an amount we cannot raise on our own. Every euro will be used for the surgery, even if it's not enough.

It breaks our hearts, because after four years of patience and love, Lisi has finally started trusting us. She is only six years old and has her whole life ahead of her. We wish for nothing more than to give her pain-free and happy years at last.
