Help Lisha become a socialpreneur

Lisha is a brilliant student in her second and final year of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme at Priyadarshini Engineering College in Vellore District, Tamil Nadu State (India). A few years ago, she was studying B.E Aeronautical at Mahendra Engineering College when her family's economic situation suddenly changed. Her dream of becoming a world-class engineer was shattered by extreme poverty. Despite this, Lisha managed to get admission to the Arts and Science College in the Vellore District to study economics.

After earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), she wants to obtain an MBA. She aspires to be a businesswoman and a social entrepreneur to fight extreme poverty and help improve the lives and learning opportunities of other girls from low-income families. 

This campaign is part of the higher education support programme, which was launched by my organization (ARCHES) several years ago. In line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations, ARCHES is making numerous efforts to promote sustainable development at various levels around the world. This programme, in particular, aims to assist more vulnerable groups such as young women and minorities by focusing on specific targets of the 2030 Agenda such as Goal 1: No Poverty, Goal 4: Quality Education, and Goal 5: Gender Equality. It provides a solid foundation for low-income students to achieve academic excellence and develop professional skills to maximize their chances of success. Through this inclusive approach, we can help them achieve their dreams and build strong futures.
