Help Lisette See her Father for the Last Time

Hi! My name is Ronan Domingo and I'm fundraising for Lisette Pascua.

Lisette Pascua is an international student from the Philippines. She currently resides in New Brunswick, Canada, and has been in the country for more than a year. Last December 30, 2022, her father was rushed to the hospital because he suffered from severe body pain and difficulty breathing. His body deteriorated within 24 hours of hospitalization due to lung and kidney complications. He passed away at age 55 at exactly 6:05 PM (Philippine Time) on December 31. His passing was sudden and unexpected as Lisette was still able to talk to her father days before.

With her current financial status, Lisette couldn't afford to go home and see her father for the last time. With the work limitations (20 hours per week) set out for international students in Canada, she could barely save extra. All her funds went to her studies as she has always wanted to finish school in Canada to have a brighter future.

Lisette hasn't seen her father since 2020, and he is the only parent she has because her mother also passed away last July 2020. Since her mom passed, she has suffered so much pain and moving on was hard for her. Now that her father has died, she feels helpless and heartbroken for not being able to see her father and spend time with him in his final moments. Lisette is also the eldest of two siblings and serves as the rock for her brother and sister, especially in these trying times.

We want to seek your help by donating any amount you can to raise money for her roundtrip plane ticket from New Brunswick, Canada, to the Philippines. The plane ticket now costs USD 7,000 as she should be home as soon as possible to be able to attend her father's funeral.

We ask for your help in sending our friend to the Philippines so she can be with her father for the last time.
