My name is Jessica. I am 29 years old and the oldest of 3 children. Our mother, Lisette, has triumphantly supported us for years, from working extraneously long days to taking care of her family.
In May 2024, my mother, Lisette, was diagnosed with renal failure due to our family history of polycystic kidney disease. Lisette witnessed her mother, Carolyn, go through the very same treatments. I was 3 years old when Carolyn passed.
My mother began treatment with weekly dialysis sessions and various doctor visits. Together, we went through the process of organ transplantation. After all testing and requirements were met, Lisette was put on the transplant list in March of 2025. The estimated wait for a kidney was 3-4 years. When we received a call on 09/22/25 that there was an organ available for Lisette, the world stopped; hopefulness, joy, and relief ran through us. Her perseverance and strength remain steady as she recovers. Surgery went smoothly and it was the worst night of my life. I’m extremely blessed for the incredible medical staff for everything they have done.
We would appreciate any support to help us get by. Basic utilities.
Please help us in our time of need. She is all we have.
