Help Lisdalia Keep Her Digital Sanctuary Alive

Hello, my name is Lisa, but you might know me by my online alias, Lisdalia, or even as the Queen of Hearts. Life has dealt my husband and me a challenging hand. As his primary caregiver, I support him through his physical disability which leaves him in a constant state of pain while navigating my own health issues, including fertility struggles, which are compounded by the ticking clock of age. We rely on income support pensions, and to say it's been a strain on my mental health would be an understatement.
In the midst of these trials, my sanctuary has been my PC. Engaging with vibrant online communities has been a lifeline, providing connections and an outlet that has sustained me through the darkest moments.
Performing has always been my passion since my teenage years, when I graced the stage as part of one of our local amateur theatre companies. It's where I met my husband, and the stage will forever be a source of renewal for me. However, the pandemic has dimmed those lights indefinitely. Instead, I've turned to live streaming and content creation, utilizing my PC to explore new avenues of expression. Not only has this been a creative outlet for me, but it has also provided a much-needed mental outlet for my husband who has taught himself video editing. Video editing has provided him with vital mental stimulation that he can do at a time and at a pace that works for him.
Despite our financial constraints, I strive to give back to the community in any way I can. Using my PC, I fundraise for various charities, supporting causes like women's mental health through Liptember and cancer research through Game on Cancer. Additionally, I volunteer as a moderator for several online streamers, ensuring their platforms remain safe and welcoming spaces for all.
However, my beloved PC is now on its last legs, plagued by frequent crashes and ominous blue screens of death. There have been moments when it refused to restart, leaving me feeling helpless. With no means to afford a replacement, I find myself reaching out to you, desperately seeking your support.
The funds raised will go towards purchasing a new PC, covering the most economical option recommended by PC companies and essential software. This new PC isn't just about hardware; it's about preserving my lifeline to the online world, enabling me to continue supporting communities, creating content, and maintaining my mental well-being, which hangs by a thread amidst fertility concerns and other challenges.
Your generosity will not only breathe new life into my digital endeavours but will also provide much-needed relief to both me and my husband. Thank you for considering supporting our cause.
