Hi my name is Lisa Roberts and am raising funds to help fund my mom's medical treatment. In 2023, our family faced a devastating challenge when my father was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Unfortunately, on our island of Grenada, access to good treatment and surgery for this type of cancer is very limited. We rallied together as a family, using most of our resources to facilitate his travel to the US for the critical medical care he needed.

Thankfully, after his surgery in December 2023, Dad was able to return home. However, just a few months later, in February 2024, we received another heartbreaking blow. We discovered a lump in my mother's breast. She was recently diagnoised with Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. Doctors believe that with the right treatment she can survive and be with our family for a few more years.

This unexpected diagnosis has left us feeling overwhelmed and emotionally and financially drained. Now, we had to travel back to the US for my mother's treatment, just as we did for my father.

My mom, Margaret or Ms. Rose _mommy Rose as she is fondly called by many is an amazing, enthusiastic woman with a zest for life, she loves God with all her heart and my family and her friends are the constant receipent of her prayers. Everyone who has met and interacted with her has been the better for knowing her.

We are reaching out to our loved ones and anyone who can help.

The cost of traveling to the US, combined with medical bills, is a significant burden that we simply cannot bear on our own.
