We're raising money for my friend Lisa Cubbage. On Saturday, February 7, 2026, her grandson's mother tried killing him and his little brother. My friend's grandson is 9 years old, he has autism and doesn't speak. His brother is five with sickle cell disease. They lost all their clothes, shoes, and toys in the fire. We are trying to raise money to help buy what they need and medication. Also, the money is going to be used for court costs to get custody of the kids and find a lawyer to file a lawsuit against CYFD and Albuquerque police. Lisa has both kids in her care after the mom abandoned them for a month. The police and CYFD told her the mother could not get the kids back. But then on February 5, Albuquerque police allowed the mother to take the kids from school after the school highly recommended against it. Due to the fact the mother had several domestic violence cases within the past month, lost her job, and got an eviction notice from her apartment. Plus, she went live on Facebook on Wednesday, February 4, stating that Lisa and her neighbors were molesting her kids, which was not true. She lied, saying she could hear them being molested. Over twenty-five calls were made to Albuquerque police that day to do a welfare check on her. The police stated she was okay even though the week before she did have a suicide attempt. On Thursday, February 5, when she picked up the kids from school, she had no license plate and no registration for her vehicle. The police also helped her jumpstart it. (Now they are charging her with no registration and no license plate.) Over twenty-some calls were made to the police on Thursday for a welfare check on the kids, due to her going live on Facebook stating her apartment had black mold and bugs, plus that she had no money for food or gas. The calls to the police continued on Friday, and the police said, yeah, everything was okay when they did their welfare check. For the welfare check, all they did was knock on the window and talk to her for a couple of minutes. By Saturday morning around 6 am, Lisa was called by the police and told that the mother poured lighter fluid on them and started the apartment on fire. Both kids are now safe, but we need your help. Thank you all in advance who donate. God bless.
