Lesa (52) is a single mother to Megan (29), Lucas (26), and Kaitlyn (24), and is currently
fighting triple negative stage three breast cancer and a possible lymphoma diagnosis. Since Moms put themselves last, this is the least of her worries.
Her son Lucas, a father of 2-year-old Anastasia, and 4-month-old Henry, and a loving partner to Autumn Walsh (21), died on February 15th, 2021, due to a seizure complication. His wish in this difficult story was to take the burden of caring for his sister Megan, who has special needs, and eventually take over as her caregiver. The toughest part is that Lucas struggled from mental disorders himself, and had goals to attend post secondary school to be able to support and provide a better life for his family. Lesa's last hope was that her son Lucas could humbly care for his sister, children, and partner.
We are raising money to help carry this family through Lesa's next stage of cancer treatment, support Megan’s future, pay for Lucas's funeral, and to help provide support for this young, broken and helpless family.
