Lisa is facing a challenging time after a serious fall that resulted in multiple fractures, including her pelvis, sacrum, and ribcage. She spent nearly a month in the hospital and in inpatient physical and occupational therapy, working hard to regain her strength. On top of these recent injuries, Lisa has been living with chronic health conditions such as kidney disease, liver disease, diabetes, gastroparesis, peripheral neuropathy, and osteopenia. The pain and weakness from these conditions make daily life difficult, and her disability income only covers basic rent and a few small bills. Medical bills are quickly depleting the small savings her mother left her, and she is struggling to afford essentials like food and other daily living costs.

Despite these hardships, Lisa continues to work as a Writer, Author, writing every day even though pain and discomfort make it difficult to sit and focus. She is passionate about helping others, especially rescued and shelter dogs, by raising awareness and sharing prayers and support on social media. Lisa also shares daily scripture verses to encourage and uplift her community. Her commitment to making a positive impact remains strong, even as she faces significant personal challenges.
