Hi, I'm Mari Lynn and I'm fundraising for a dear friend and pillar in our community, and in many others. As some of you know, she recently underwent treatment for cancer, and though she's trying to heal from that, she also lost over $6,000 in wages. On top of that, she has important expenses that are due very soon and she is trying to make ends meet. It's become more than she can bear, and I offered to create this fund raiser to help her out.

Lisa is a beacon of compassion in our community and she touches lives and hearts wherever she goes. I know she is strong, capable and works very hard, but she is stretched thin. Her financial challenges are very stressful and it doesn't bode well for healing from the ravages of cancer, chemo and radiation. In addition to herself, she also takes care of her granddaughter and in the midst of her cancer treatment she lost her beloved pet and rock for her-her precious Pixie. Life's challenges have just gotten too big.

I know times are tough for many-but perhaps you are moved by Lisa's daily posts of good cheer on Facebook and want to give back. Here's your chance!
