Lisa is a vibrant 48-year-old who lives alone and faces daily challenges with incredible strength and positivity. I met Lisa through mutual friends, and we quickly bonded over our shared love for live music and supporting local bands. She is a true lover of life, enjoys the energy of a concert or the company of friends.
Lisa was born with Spina Bifida, which means she relies on a manual wheelchair, power wheelchair, leg braces, and forearm crutches for mobility. Recently, she faced another major challenge: she had to have her lower leg amputated and now needs a prosthetic to walk. On top of that, her condition affects her bladder and bowel functions, requiring her to use urinary catheters and incontinence diapers—items that are not always covered by insurance. Lisa was just fitted for a new prosthetic, and she continues to face ongoing medical expenses.
Despite all of this, Lisa remains upbeat and is a pleasure to be around. She loves Kermit the Frog, takes her powered wheelchair everywhere, and never lets her health challenges dampen her zest for life. All who know her are amazed by her determination and positivity. I am raising funds to help Lisa cover the cost of her new prosthetic and her ongoing medical needs. Your support will make a real difference, helping Lisa continue to embrace life, share her joy with others, and inspire everyone around her. Thank you for considering a donation to help Lisa on her journey.
