Emma Jenkins died at 34 years old.

She was the kindest, sweetest, most caring woman I've ever met.

Emma loved Disney movies and she loved singing. We'd often sit in the car singing duets, despite my awful singing voice. The last thing we sang together was "We Don't Talk about Bruno". This was late one night, the week she passed away.

We are left with a hole in our heart and we need to say goodbye to our dear Emma and express our love for her.

In early 2021, we were lucky to have Emma Jenkins join our family.

She came to live with us during, what turned out to be, an incredibly difficult and tumultuous year.

Yet, despite everything, Emma stood there by our side supporting us and lifting us up when we fell.

We relied on her heavily and she put her whole heart into everything she did for our family.

She barely left our side. She never went to stay at a friend's house, or went away. In fact, I can count on one hand the times she even left us for more than a few hours. Being with us is where she wanted to be, and we loved her dearly.

To the boys, Emma and I were one homogeneous blob. If Jimmy needed something, he'd yell "EMMA MUMMY, EMMA MUMMY!"

She was everything to us and we were everything to her.

Tragically, Emma passed away in the early hours of Friday 4th March leaving us behind, devastated. On Thursday night, she hugged Jimmy, put Shamus to bed and told him she loved him. They never saw her again.

We are heartbroken.

We have since been excluded from her funeral as have any of her friends.

We are asking for donations to hold a memorial service for Emma. She deserves a proper goodbye with the people she loved and who loved her in return.
