Hi, my name is Lauren, and I’m raising this on behalf of my mom. Her journey with metastatic breast cancer began two years ago, and since then she has endured more than anyone should ever have to. She is now preparing for her sixth surgery.

Her original surgery was a disaster and led to a serious E. coli infection, completely eliminating her chance at reconstruction. Ever since, it’s been ongoing repair after repair—each procedure taking an emotional, physical, and financial toll. Losing parts of your body is devastating, and the pain she lives with daily has been unimaginable.

Now, she urgently needs emergency surgery to remove an expander on her other side. This surgery is extremely painful to delay, yet it is no longer covered by insurance, meaning she has to pay out of pocket. This financial burden feels impossible to bear alone.

I’m asking for help to support her during this incredibly difficult time. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward covering this necessary surgery and giving her the chance to focus on healing instead of worrying about how to afford it.
