Help Lisa Recover and Rebuild After a Devastating Accident

Dear friends, family, & compassionate supporters,

I’m humbly reaching out to you during a profoundly challenging time. Due to untenable life circumstances, I had recently made the decision to relocate from Prescott, Arizona, to start anew in the Chicago area. Unfortunately, while on my cross-country drive with all of my possessions, I was involved in a major head-on collision with a wrong-way driver on an Oklahoma interstate.

This accident, coupled with the echoes of a similar major collision I experienced in 2012, has brought a surge of physical, emotional, financial, and psychological challenges. I lost my car, bikes, and many personal belongings, leaving me in urgent need of support.

The decision to leave Prescott and my amazing community there was not easy, but necessary. Now, while in an unfamiliar place, I’m facing a challenging recovery, physically, emotionally, and financially. While insurance and legal proceedings may eventually provide some relief, these processes take time, and the costs are mounting now.

It’s very hard for me to ask for this kind of support, but your generous contributions will help me cover essential expenses such as medical bills, therapy, and a new mode of transportation.
