Lisa was diagnosed in 2014 with Endometrial Uterine Cancer. After a complete hysterectomy, she thought she was healed. Unfortunetly the cancer has metastasized to to her lungs, where a CT Scan showed innumerable nodules. Lisa was told she has Stage 4 Adenocarcinoma of the Lungs, and that her prognosis and treatment will be difficult.
If you know Lisa, you know her determination is strong, and her faith is even stronger. She and her family have decided to fight this cancer with everything they have. Lisa is a wonderful wife and mother. With her loving husband Guy, 6 year old son Jake, oldeset son Dustin and daugter in-law Becky, along with her 2 beautiful grandchildren (Plus one more on the way!).... you can see, she has many reasons to pursue an aggressive course of treatment.

After much prayer and consideration, Lisa has decided that her best treatment option would be to receive traditional therapy, as well as participate in a clinical study at MD Anderson in Houston, TX. This will require a lot of traveling up front, and then once a month afterwards. Treatment would include aggressive chemotherapy, along with a hormone blocker.
At this point, it is uncertain when Lisa will be able to return to work. She has been a nurse for 35 years, caring for, and loving others through their times of need.
Today her family and friends are asking that you consider helping this sweet family with a monentary donation, that will be used to help with medical, travel and living expenses during this very difficult time.
All donations are very much appreciated, and we know that Lisa would accept all the positivity and prayers we can send her way.
