Hello, in mid November my wonderful sister Lisa was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. It is an aggressive rapidly growing tumor and the plan to treat aggressively. Today she had a port placed and starts chemotherapy tomorrow. Her care plan includes a year of chemo and at least one surgery. If you know her, you already know she is so incredibly selfless(as she puts all of us and her patients before herself).

Lisa is always willing to help anyone and would never ︅ask for help for herself, but she will need some help as she kicks cancer’s ass. She is determined to continue working and I love her optimism, but we are not sure how she will feel once treatments start. With the treatments her immune system will become compromised and working in the hospital is not ideal for her to stay healthy.
