my name is Lisa, on 09/03/2025 I was found unresponsive & was put on a ventilator for four days & was diagnosed with acute respiratory failure with hypoxia & hypercapnia I also have residual brain damage from this medical emergency due to having cardiac issues & severe obstructive sleep apnea.the next few days I went to step down critical care . Im learning to do the basics again and they don’t know if I’ll ever be able to return to work or not . My critical illness insurance claim was denied & my fmla & short term disability disability hasn’t made a decision yet on if I’ll get paid. I’m trying to get help with bills & medical expenses currently. If you can’t help please pray for my family & I my son & disabled daughter are helping try taking care of me but they’re both on a fixed income.
