UPDATE: Lisa passed away on Saturday, November 13 in Marietta, GA. Funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Lutheran in Marietta on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 1pm.

Hi, I'm JoJo, a friend of the Parks. I have created this GoFundMe for Karen and Lil as they face life without Lisa. The news is shocking for all of us. Lisa was just recently diagnosed with an extremely aggressive form of cancer and is heartbreakingly at the end of her life.

 

As you all know the light of Lisa’s life is Lil, the beautiful, joyful, 10 year-old daughter she shares with Karen. It is unimaginable to be losing a mother at such a young age and I’m devastated for her and sad for Lisa that she will never see this amazing young lady mature to adulthood. I'm also worried about the immediate needs of the family as the bills pile on and a multitude of decisions need to be made.

 

Karen and Lisa have helped so many of us in times of crises in our lives. I have been the beneficiary of that love and support myself. And now it's our turn to give Karen and Lil the support they will desperately need over the coming weeks and months. If you would like to help, please consider donating.
