Help Lisa Mielke's Battle With Leukemia

Hi everyone! I have started this page for my sister Lisa Mielke and her husband Scott.
In November of 2019, Lisa was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). This is an aggressive cancer of the blood and she has been in and out of hospital since last November. Lisa had a stem-cell transplant in May but unfortunately found out 3 months later that it failed and she relapsed. Lisa needs plasma and whole blood transfusions multiple times a week. She is currently at the Kingston General Hospital recovering from Pneumonia as well. Her doctors are hoping that she will be able to participate in a clinical trial of Car T cell therapy in Ottawa.
As you can imagine, this has been a very challenging year both financially and emotionally. I am hoping that this page will provide a little help for care and travel expenses. I would like to thank you in advance for keeping Lisa and her family in your prayers.
