On January 17, 2026, our family home was devastated by fire. I’m Lisa Marie, and I’m raising funds for myself, my husband, and our five-year-old twins as we try to rebuild our home and our sense of normal. Thankfully, the structure survived, but the inside was so badly damaged that nearly everything had to be removed. We did all of the cleanup and demolition ourselves. Insurance helped us through the immediate aftermath, and we’re grateful for that, but it only carried us so far. We were able to hire a contractor to get the house dried in and protected from the elements with a new roof, windows, and doors. Since then, we’ve been at a standstill, living in an RV on our property while the shell of our home waits for the next step.

We are not asking for a luxury rebuild. We are simply trying to cover the basics that will make our home safe and livable again: electrical, plumbing, siding, drywall, flooring, paint, heating and cooling, fixtures, appliances, materials, beds, and skilled labor where needed. Our dream is simple and deeply personal: to wake up together in our home on Christmas morning. We will document this journey openly on social media, sharing our progress and where the money goes, and we want to recognize and thank every person, business, donor, and tradesperson who helps us, unless they prefer privacy. We are doing everything we can ourselves by selling what we can, working, creating, and contributing alongside everyone who chooses to help. We have the house. We have the hands.
