Help Lisa Give Softly His Forever Home

This campaign is to help my friend, Lisa, officially adopt Softly, a sweet dog who has made an incredible journey.

t her longtime companion, Ruby, and she is still navigating the quiet sadness that has filled her home. Then she met Softly.

Softly is a 12-year-old dog who spent the first decade of his life living outside, a life that left him in very poor condition. When he came to the rescue, his fur was matted and riddled with fleas, his body was covered in untreated lumps, and his teeth were in a terrible, painful state.

Despite his past, Softly is a truly wonderful dog. He's happy, friendly, and just wants to be a cherished companion. The volunteers at Starting Over Dog Rescue have already provided all the necessary vet work to get him healthy—including a full groom, dental surgery to remove his bad teeth, and lump removals. He will soon feel and look like a new dog.

Lisa has developed a deep bond with him and wants to give him a permanent, loving home for the rest of his life. For her, bringing Softly into her life is not about replacing Ruby, but about finding a way to recover her peace of mind and share her love with a new companion who so desperately needs a soft landing.

The only thing standing in the way is the adoption fee of $350 AUD, which is required to finalize the adoption. The money raised will go directly to the rescue to cover this fee and help Softly get his second chance at a forever home with Lisa.
