Hi Everyone! My name is Lori and I am calling out to all of you to help me, help my twin sister Lisa. Anyone who knows Lisa, knows that she is the kindest, most genuine, honest, decent person you will ever meet. She has always been a person of integrity. She has always been there for so many people! She has helped countless of people in many different ways, INCLUDING ME! SHE IS MY ROCK! She is an amazing support to so many people!

On May 28th Lisa was at work and fell ill suddenly with no warning. Her blood pressure went up to a very low number and she felt very faint. She was taken to the ER and within hours was diagnosed with a quite large lesion on the stem of her brain. Within 48 hours, she had complete numbness on her head, face, mouth, and throat as well as her teeth and ears. She was extremely dizzy and nauseous for several days. She spent several days in the hospital and than I was her caregiver at home. She was unable to do anything for herself. She initially was simply off work due to an illness. After a long period of time, she had to go on "short term disability". This was all very terrifying as she had literally been about 2 weeks prior to the closing of her new home. After being discharged from the hospital, she could not lift anything or do anything strenuous. In fact, she could do very little. She fortunately had done a lot of packing and cleaning prior to that fateful day . She had to move with my help and some of our loved ones. This was supposed to be a time of rejoice and happiness. Lisa tried her best to be positive and appreciative but it was tough considering she couldn't eat, see, move well, or do the simplest of tasks.

Throughout the summer, she has made some improvements. She is not well enough however, to go back to work. She has applied for some programs but because she has always worked her entire life and now 

she cannot get the help she has asked for. It has now come to the point where her short-term disability is all done. We are at a loss of what to to next. I am reaching out to you all to see if we can at least collect enough for her to contribute to her $18,000 in out-of-pocket medical costs . Lisa has always been there for anyone who has needed her. I am hoping that as a group, we can show her that she has help if she needs it. If you cannot help, we will take your prayers, but if you can, we truly, truly appreciate it!!
