Help Lisa Klockenteger Fight Stage-4 Cancer
Seeking Support For Lisa Klockenteger, Dental Hygienist
Battling Stage-4 Metastatic Cancer
We would like to introduce ourselves. My name is Karen Burgess and I am Pat Johnson, and we want to raise money for our dear friend, Lisa Klockenteger. She has recently been diagnosed with Stage-4 Adenocarcinoma Cancer that has metastasized to her lungs.
She is a Dental Hygienist who started her own unique business here in Paso Robles in 2004, as an Alternative Practice AP Hygienist. It is a brick & mortar office that offers preventative dental hygiene care. That was a new concept for her to introduce into this town of Paso Robles, and she is considered a pioneer for dental hygiene throughout the State of California.
She is currently undergoing radiation, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy cancer treatments, which are challenging and make it difficult for her to work full-time at her office. Lisa is endeared by the public at large due to her years of volunteering contributions to the underprivileged children in the area as well as others needing dental care who otherwise could not afford it.
We want to do whatever we can to help her navigate these challenges because she is self-employed and has to work and run her business by herself. We want to help our wonderful friend survive financially and be able to retire from dental hygiene at the end of the year when her lease runs out on the building her practice is located in.
She opened the doors to this community and has touched the lives of over 4,000 patients, teaching the importance of regular cleanings and good dental care for overall better health. She also provided bedside care at senior care facilities, worked with low-income patients, and the developmentally disabled.
So, now in her hour of need, we are starting this GoFundMe page on her behalf to help alleviate the financial burdens of trying to work and keep her office open while fighting for her life. So, for those of you that know and love Lisa, like we do, we are asking you to join us in helping her with financial support.
Thank you.
