Lisa has been diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome, which is a type of cancer attacking bone marrow causing it to fail in producing enough healthy blood cells. Lisa raises her two children, while also working full time as Clerk for the Town of Grand Rapids, WI. Facing a one year mandatory hiatus from her employment, she will need additional funding to help her with travel and lodging costs for her and her caregivers which will be a minimum three month stay near her treatment facility in either Madison, WI or Rochester, MN.
