Some of you already know my beautiful friend Lisa. For those that don’t, let me just briefly tell you I know her to be one of the most giving individuals I have ever met. When someone says a person would give you the shirt off their back, they would be describing Lisa. I chose the photo because it was at a time I was in need and Lisa came to my rescue. She climbed a fence, ripped her shorts, and helped me put a huge tarp over a stack of hay in a nasty dust storm! That is a friend!

She is a hard-working, single mom who raised an incredible daughter on her own. She is an animal lover and a rescuer of many. In the past year or so, Lisa has been dealing with some medical issues. Left somewhat unresolved, but she went back to being the fighter she has always been. Working full-time, caring for a home that she shares with her grown daughter, taking care of animals, and always giving back to others and her community.

Recently, I spoke with her daughter and found out that Lisa is dealing with more medical issues. She is extremely ill and there is no idea when she will be able to come home or return to work. Right now, she needs our help! I know that this is not something that she would ever do or ask of someone. Although she would give everything she could to help someone in need, she would never ask for help for herself. She can be mad at me all she wants, but I know that she is in need of assistance. So please, if you have a giving heart like Lisa, please lift her up in prayer and give anything that you can provide. Every dollar will count to keep this family in their home while Lisa recovers without the worry of financial strain.
