Help Lisa Heal: Stroke Rehabilitation Fund

As many of you may know, last Wednesday, I returned from work to find Lisa unresponsive on the floor of our home. She had a stroke, one that has affected movement on her right side as well as speech and cognitive abilities.

By the grace of God, she has already made some progress and is out of ICU, but she has a long, difficult road ahead.

As her primary caregiver, I will not be able to work full time and Lisa cannot work for the foreseeable future. Kentucky has no short term disability that could help offset the loss of our wages, so I am reaching out to you, our family and friends, for help.

I thank God I got off early Wednesday. I thank God the doctors were able to remove the clot that caused the stroke and have found no others. I know God will sustain us through this season. I know He will bring good from this valley in our lives because that’s what He promises and He’s faithful.

Give if you can, but whether you can or cannot, pray. We are placing ourselves in His hands.
