Lisa was diagnosed with head and neck cancer in December 2021. Her treatment involves thirty-five Proton radiation treatments and seven chemotherapy sessions, five days per week for seven weeks. She travels to Karmanos Flint Proton Center for every treatment, which is an hour in each direction.

 

Lisa has worked in healthcare for 28 years at Ascension, providing compassionate care to patients. She has always gone above and beyond for others. Her oncology treatment requires her to be on a leave of absence, reducing her income significantly. In addition, her husband lost his job in December 2021. We created this Go Fund Me page to help support Lisa and her family, which includes her husband and 2 children, with the ongoing expenses of medical bills, utilities, house payments, gas and food.
