EDIT06/06/25:: Mom has passed away June 5th in the evening at Geisinger in Danville. She was surrounded by people who loved her the whole time she was hospitalized, all to her last day. Everything everyone has donated has helped pay her electric bill and the remainder will now be used for her Cremation & Celebration of Life which will be announced at a later date -- it'll be held in Millville and further info will be updated as time passes.

Our family's world turned upside down on Thursday when our beloved mom received a devastating diagnosis: stage four lung/bone metastatic cancer. While she's showing strength, the road ahead is very uncertain. Due to her condition, she won't be able to start treatments right away and will be coming home on hospice care. She will be getting 5 radiation treatments for the tumors on her brain, right away to see if it will help bring her vision back.

Mom is a fighter. She listens and has always been there for me, even through the struggles we've faced together. The past 10 years or so haven't been easy for her, with ongoing health battles, but she's faced them all with her courage throughout the time, as I was watching her decline.

Mom loves flowers, plants, and little trinkets from Temu. And let's not forget her beloved cats, who are a constant source of comfort and purrs.

The funds raised will help cover her medical bills, create a peaceful and comfortable space for her with flowers, plants, and her favorite things, and ensure her cats are well cared for. Our family is on a fixed income, so any help is appreciated. This support will be a huge relief for her, no matter what.
