Help Lisa Fight this Battle

This fundraiser has been established for our mother Lisa Melcher. Our mom is a mother of two and a grandmother of 3 grandsons, Aiden (4), Nolan (2) and Mason (2) and 1 on the way (Due 2/2021). Lisa moved to Minnesota about a year ago so she could watch one of her grandsons during the day and then at night she is usually off to her night/weekend job, usually 4-6 nights out of the week. On June 17th, she went to the doctor for a lump she noticed on her neck hoping that it was just nothing. They did a biopsy and found out she has Squamous Cell Carcinoma p16 Negative Parathyroid. She is required to have radiation and chemotherapy for the next 7 weeks in hopes that will cure it. On August 17th, she started radiation and chemo, 2 weeks in she is already feeling the affects of it and has had to take time off work. Our mom is a fighter, but it is clear that the next couple months is going to be a tough one for her. This fundraiser has been established to help ease the burden of the financial strain of medical expenses not covered by insurance, as well as transportation cost to and from treatment and normal day to day expenses from not working as much as she was. Any help will be appreciated so she can focus on her treatment and healing.
