Help Lisa fight the fight

Hi, my name is Lancey Johnston, most of you know I am Lisa’s cousin. Lisa and I grew up together and consider each other sisters. I’m her biggest cheerleader and she is mine, I love her to the moon and back. In 2010, Lisa was in a horrific and life altering work accident. She has undergone over 9 surgeries and many procedures. During one back surgery in 2015, she died on the table, and another back surgery in 2021, she became paralized from the waist down, and spent a week in the hospital recovering from the evacuation of a blood clot that formed in her spine. She has endured over 20 Rhizotomies to alleviate excruciating nerve pain, and over 10 years of physical therapy to improve her activities of daily living. In 2014, her pain and discomfort became so unbearable she was not able to work anymore. In 2017, she was deemed physically disabled. In 2018, after living in Sacramento for over 30 years, she made the move to Beautiful Bend, OR. Shortly after getting settled in Bend, she was diagnosed with cancer and had to undergo yet another painful surgery, and recovery process. I’m happy to report that she is cancer free!! She continues to live in daily back pain and is left with permanent nerve damage. Lisa has built a beautiful home in Bend, but is facing enormous medical debt and is in jeopardy of losing her home. I’m sure many of you have been impacted by her generosity. She has the most beautiful heart of anyone I’ve ever met. She would give a stranger the shirt off her back, in fact she gave a very deserving young man in Sacramento a car, because she saw his potential and drive to create a better life for himself and his family.
