Help Lisa fight stage 3 colon cancer
Donation protected
Our amazing Lisa was diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer back on November 2nd, 2024. A day we will never forget, it changed all our lives. She immediately went into treatment and is fully committed to her recovery. After undergoing 3 major surgeries for removing the mass (size of a baseball), her appendix, 14 infected lymph nodes, an infection and lastly her ostomy bag. There were days when we didn’t know if she would make it. So much on her body and her mind. Then she did her first round of chemo in January and unfortunately there were massive hurdles which included kidney failure and another stint in the hospital, where they know her name. Thank you to all the staff at RCH – 3rd floor so many amazing people. Lisa now takes 40 pills a day to fight this battle. She has 4 more rounds of chemo.
Lisa is a selfless person who is always willing to help everyone else. She is a beautiful person inside and out, the best mama her 3 kids could ask for. She lives for them. She’s always been the one to light up a room with her smile, her kindness and her unbreakable spirit. Whether it’s helping others, being a loving mother, sister and friend, or working tirelessly to make ends meet. She’s been an inspiration to us all. For those who are able, we are asking for a contribution to the cause of Lisa’s recovery. The funds will primarily go to Lisa’s medical bills, it will provide a sense of security given the serious nature of stage three and will be used for any unknown expenses related to her recovery. The cost of ostomy bags, medical professional procedures and loss of wages has kept her up at night. She needs to heal and anything that can be donated will be greatly appreciated.
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page with others. Your prayers, positive thoughts, and encouragement mean the world to us as we navigate this difficult time. Together, we can help Lisa stay strong and focused on healing.
Thank you for your kindness, support, and love during this challenging journey. Your help is not only giving us hope, but also showing my sister that she is not alone in this fight. We are so grateful for each and every one of you, God bless you all xo
