Help Lisa fight lung cancer

Hello friends, with heavy hearts, we have to write this post. Our beloved Lisa Lucas was diagnosed on January 10 with advanced small cell carcinoma lung cancer . This form of cancer is very aggressive and is incorporated its self into the sac surrounding her heart, esophagus and trachea causing pressure and narrowing of the tubes. This makes surgery not an option. Shes likely only had this for for a couple of months. This news is devastating to her and her family and friends. This very unexpected news has turned their world upside-down as you can well imagine. If left untreated she'll only have 4 to 6 months to live. Lisa will be heading to Victoria Royal Jubliee Hospital this week for a very intensive Chemotherapy treatment to shrink the cancer.

Lisa is well-known in our community as a fun-loving, caring person who will light up a room (and a good party) with her positive energy and humorous nature. She would drop anything to help someone in need. So now is our chance to return the favour. Lisa is in good spirits and has a great mindset while she is going through the fight of her life. We are hoping that we can come together to help with the financial burden so Lisa and Glenn can focus less on making ends meet and more on getting the treatment she needs to succeed.
