Hi everyone,
This is incredibly difficult for me to write because asking for help has never come naturally to me. I have always believed in working hard and handling things on my own, but our family is facing more than we can manage right now, and this has truly become our last resort.
On December 17, 2025, while I was at the hospital having biopsies done, I received a phone call that my mom had passed away. It was one of the hardest moments of my life. Just two days later, I received another life-changing call — I was diagnosed with Stage 2 aggressive breast cancer.
Since then, life has become a whirlwind of appointments, surgeries, and recovery. I recently underwent a major double mastectomy with DIEP flap reconstruction surgery, and I still need to undergo the second stage of the reconstruction process along with continued recovery and medical care.
At the same time, our family has been hit with another unexpected hardship. My husband was involved in a serious car accident that has left him unable to work and facing his own upcoming surgery. With both of us dealing with major medical issues at the same time, our household income has been significantly affected.
Between medical expenses, recovery time, and the loss of income, the financial pressure has become overwhelming. Like many families, we have always tried to handle things ourselves, but the reality of two major health crises at once has made that impossible.
This fundraiser will help us cover essential expenses during this difficult time — medical bills, recovery-related costs, and basic household expenses while we both heal and work toward getting back on our feet.
Beyond financial support, your prayers, encouragement, and sharing of this page mean more to us than words can express. Every message and every act of kindness reminds us that we are not alone in this fight.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking the time to read our story and for any support you are able to give.
