Our dear friend Lisa was just diagnosed with autoimmune hepatitis, a serious life-threatening condition where a person's immune system attacks the person's liver.  If left untreated, the disease can get very serious and lead to cirrhosis of the liver (scarring) or liver failure, in some cases requiring a liver transplant.

As a single mom who supports her kids, Lisa needs as much help as she can get for the expensive treatment and medication. Lisa dedicates her life to saving other sick people - she is a passionate nurse in the dialysis unit at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx who is forced to work despite her illness.  Let's take this chance to support in her fight.
