Please Help with Lisa Correa's Healing
Donation protected
HI, my name is John Correa. My wife, Lisa Correa, has been ill for the past 7+ years illnesses after abstaining a severe injury. She recently became a patient at the Institute for Neuro-immune Medicine (INIM) and Nova Southeastern University in Florida. We are attempting to self-pay for the treatment, which has been the case of the majority of the treatment Lisa has received since becoming ill. She has been suffering from Lyme disease, toxic mold exposure illness, Fibromyalgia, Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, including dysautonomia and cardiopulomary problems. Some friends have asked how to help. If anyone can help us find an agency or charity that helps patients pay for treatment of Lyme disease, Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, or dysautonomia, we would be eternally grateful.
Before getting sick, Lisa was able to work, exercise, socialize, and take care of herself and our family with energy and ease. Since being ill, emotional, physical and mental exertion and activity increases her symptoms and requires a tremendous amount of rest on a daily basis. Lisa has not been able to work and do many of things we all take for granted. Lisa has been advised to rest even more than she already does to aid in her healing. Lisa is mostly homebound and ny time she leaves the house, she needs to rest before and after doing so. Due to Lisa suffering what are called invisible illness and disabilities, people do not realize how much she has and is suffering. Most of it happens privately behind closed doors. So she could use any encourgement in the comments you can give. We hope and pray that the treatment at INIM at Nova helps Lisa heal and improves her quality of life and functioning and reduces her pain. Please pray with us for her healing and for successful treatment. Thank you.
