Help Lisa Cornish

For those of you who don't know my mom (Lisa Cornish), you probably haven't lived in the Lakes Region very long!

 

She is a woman who dedicates nearly every spare penny and second of her time to helping others in need. You can find her spending her "vacations" working at the Children's Auction; her evenings attending various meetings for the Auction, The Challenge, The Santa Fund - and probably even at the Food Pantry! Oh, and let's not forget her love for the fur babies and her donations to the NH Humane Society! She contributes year-round with the biggest smile on her face and has always said, "If I could afford to do this full time, it would make me the happiest person!". She is a woman with the biggest heart I've ever seen!!

 

As someone who gives endlessly, asking for help is a challenging thing. So I am doing it for her! Because I think she deserves the love she so freely gives out! 

 

My mom recently changed career paths to better her health and  have more time to do what she loves -HELPING OTHERS.

 

With a change in career path comes a reduction in pay, a lapse in health insurance and delays in short-term disability/FMLA assistance. Unfortunately, without going into too much detail, my mom was diagnosed with cancerous findings during this transition phase. Her surgery is 3/10, and medical bills are already through the roof :(

 

The amount I have listed for a goal covers personal bills while she will be out recovering and some medical bills she has already received. Matt and I are doing our best to support her during this time. However, we also need to reach a hand out for help as this is above what we can float on our own.

 

I thank you in advance for anything you can assist with. I know we are ALL struggling considering the state of the world right now - which makes every contribution that much more remarkable, loved and appreciated!
