You know that childhood friend that fills your memories with discussions of first loves and other teenage angst, crazy parties, college and the rest of life’s wins and losses? The friend that is family? The friend that although miles separate you, they don’t divide you?

I have that friend. We all do. She is a giver of laughter and support. She is independent. She is a fierce fighter. She has never asked for support, but she needs it now, so I am asking for her.

Lisa Cordova has been fighting breast cancer. The woman that has touched so many of us in more ways than she knows can use your help. She recently lost her job due to her medical condition and could use some help while she and her daughter continue to fight the battle and search for other resources.
